“CEOs must support the global economy by focusing on progress, people, and the planet,” Schulman said. “Profit and purpose are not at odds with each other inside a business. In fact, I would argue that the two go hand in hand. The pandemic brought these issues and trends to our attention that have been with us for quite some time. I’m excited to explore these ideas with other leaders in the impact investing space at this year’s Sorenson Impact Summit.”
Dan has frequently been recognized by Fortune as one of the top 20 Businesspersons of the Year, has been named one of the top 100 Most Creative People by Fast Company and, in 2019, he was named one of Glassdoor’s Top 50 CEOs. In addition, he has been recognized as one of the top 10 Most Innovative CEOs in Banking.
“Dan is one of the nation’s most notable corporate leaders because he focuses on creating value for all of his stakeholders – shareholders, employees, customers, and the communities they live in, and regulators,“ said Sorenson Impact CEO Geoff Davis. “We are honored to have Dan as our keynote speaker at this year’s Summit to outline how strong financial results and positive societal impact go together.“
Dan will open the 2022 Sorenson Impact Summit on the evening of June 13th during the event’s welcome reception. Virgin Unite CEO Jean Oelwant will keynote the opening Summit breakfast on June 14th.
Schulman is actively involved in the World Economic Forum, as a member of the International Business Council, and the Board of Governors and Board of Stewards for the Future of Financial & Monetary Systems platform.
