Sorenson Impact Center’s Geoff Davis Selected as an IMAGINE Founding Cohort Member

IMAGINE aims to increase collaboration between CEOs and companies across sectors to drive social and environmental change at a massive scale.

SALT LAKE CITY – Geoff Davis, CEO of the Sorenson Impact Center, has been named a founding cohort member of IMAGINE, a Benefit corporation and foundation working to accelerate partnerships to align business with the prosperity of the planet. Davis will join IMAGINE as part of the group’s newest community of leaders who are joining forces to put economies and societies on a better path.

Alongside 40 other founding cohort members, this new effort unites business leaders, entrepreneurs, and civil society leaders who believe in a Net Positive future to form a community that will support efforts to drive systems change. The founding cohort is a culmination of several years of these industry leaders working together as a community to promote courageous leadership and was released after members attended this year’s World Economic Forum.

Co-Founded by Valerie Keller and Paul Polman, with Jeff Seabright, Kees Kruythoff and a community of alumni CEOs, IMAGINE aims to develop transformational leaders with the capabilities to lead and effect true systems change. By bringing together CEOs representing a breadth of industries, IMAGINE works to aid collaboration across different sectors to promote collective action to address some of the world’s most difficult societal and environmental problems.

In his role at the Sorenson Impact Center, Davis leads the strategic direction and vision for the Center, elevating the Center’s ability to help organizations achieve their impact vision by connecting capital to social and environmental solutions, helping organizations measure, report, and improve impact.

“I am honored to be among this impressive collective of CEOs from across the value chain and to become part of the IMAGINE network,” said Davis. “Our biggest social and environmental challenges demand new and more radical approaches. I am certain that this world-class group of impact leaders will help illuminate the future of the field and give insights into the challenges and opportunities in realizing our shared vision for global impact. I look forward to our collaboration and to finding new ways to usher in sustainable, systemic change for our society and planet.”

IMAGINE was founded with a belief in the positive potential of human beings to lead systemic change. Following the successful convening of CEO communities in the Food Collective and Fashion Pact, IMAGINE expanded to accelerating transformational leadership and disruptive innovators committed to climate action and social equity.
