Kathryn serves as Creative Director on the Sorenson Impact Center’s Marketing, Communications, and Storytelling team. Kathryn is responsible for all things visual at the Center. She manages a team of designers who communicate the vision and mission of the Center through social media, print, and websites. Her team has a hand in many projects, helping to make data more understandable through good design.
Prior to her role at the Center, Kathryn worked as a graphic/web designer for Strategic Communications at University of the Pacific, Stockton. She has a background in the consumer product marketing industry and has designed for a myriad of brands including HP, Myers-Briggs, and Foster Farms. Kathryn received her Bachelor of Science degree in web design and development as well as an A.A. in graphic design and illustration from Brigham Young University, Idaho.
When she’s not working, Kathryn’s creative outlets include backyard permaculture/chicken farming, developing traditional cooking skills, and sourdough baking. She also enjoys going on low-key adventures with her husband and four children.
