Robert serves as Managing Director of Marketing, Communications, and Storytelling at the Sorenson Impact Center and as President of SOCAP Global, the largest convenor in global impact. At the Center, Robert is responsible for big-picture, creative strategies to create an inspiring vision for visibility growth, campaign and program design, media and public relations, and data-driven measurement. Robert leads the implementation of full communications strategies, storytelling, branding, marketing, thought leadership, public relations, content creation, and measurement & analytics for both the Center and our partners & clients. Robert brings more than 20 years of experience steering the strategic planning and execution of communications and marketing strategies in diverse industries including campaign politics and public affairs in his home state of Louisiana. Prior to joining the Center, Robert led marketing and communications efforts for LSU Athletics where he led the brand to historic heights. Robert is also a former senior advisor and executive director at Sanderson Strategies Group in Washington, DC. He earned his master’s degree from Georgetown University and holds a B.A. from Louisiana Tech University.
